Institute for Conservation, Land Use and Environmental Resiliency coming to UNC Asheville

University of North Carolina Asheville  announces $1 million endowment for the Charles T. McCullough Jr. Institute for Conservation, Land Use and Environmental Resiliency. The new endowment will focus on solving environmental problems while giving students a chance to participate in paid internships and research. UNC Asheville Chancellor Anne Ponder described the institute as a “national model for blending environmental studies with economics, business and sustainable growth in urban and rural landscapes.” #Asheville, #environment
